I filed an application to sponsor my wife from trinidad, last night i check the status and saw the following, is this normal? should i be worried?

We received your application to sponsor XXXXX XXXX on April XX, 2010.

We sent you a letter on May XX, 2010 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

It just means that the 1st part is done and the file was transfered to the local office and it probably says that you've been approved to sponsor. Congrats.

Yes it is, as soon as the local office starts processing your PR application, another line will be added to say that it is now "in process"

I agree, Lois Lane. Forget ecas and go out and have some fun! There is nothing that worrying and wondering will do now.

Good plan if the letter comes to you and says you were approved to sponsor and the file had been transfered.Hide it lock it away put it in another province or it will consume your everyday.lol
