I would like to know if i cancel my temporary work permit whether my temporary resident visa also will get expired?or are they separate?

Separate if you are in Canada
 
Thanks for your info. I have applied for new LMO from a new employer. My previous employer might cancel my work permit and visa valid until april. can i flagpole with the new LMO without a valid visa to enter back inside canada. Please guide.
i live inside canada right now.

Your employer cannot cancel a government of Canada document. The easiet way to apply for a new WP is through Vegreville. You can apply online.
