Is sushi chef eligible for CEC with no cook's trade certificate or relevant education?

Hi guys,

I have been working in a sushi restaurant as sushi chef for a year. I have no relevant education in cooking but I have one year experience on the job. And I don't have a cook's trade certification too.

Can anyone please let me know whether I'm eligible for CEC?

I remember vaguely when I went to cooking school years ago . It was an intensive program , accounting , HR, sauces, soups etc .It was a two year program , you then do apprenticeship training , get your certificate . It’s a certificate designation that you are a chef . Otherwise anyone can say, I work in a kitchen , I’m a chef now . Same thing as a sous chef . It’s a designation
You typically train under a chef , apprentice, work your hours . Get a red seal designation

Adding, I never got thru the course .Kept ending up in Emergency with cuts, burns etc . Decided to move on to a less hazardous professional

So you are filing in something wrong? What is your profile? What is the NOC that you have a year of Canadian experience? IELTS?

Even I felt the same thing. I might be filling something wrong. I'm working as a chef from 1 yr but I have 2 years of education in Canada and 2 years of IT industry non-canadian experience. My CELPIP is eligible for the profile creation. I need someone's help what's wrong step ik making
