Just now my friends called from Canada and told that, they received two envelops from CIC, one on my name and other one on my wife name. But, we completed our landing procedure in Sept 2012 and expecting cards for my kids too. Is those envelops are PR cards for all of us or my kids to get separate envelops too.
My friend told, they are not opening as they are on our name ? Any suggestion, do we get other two envelops for our kids too or their cards already include in one of our cover or these envelops are something else ?
Just because the letters are addressed to you, doesn't mean that your friends cannot open the letters. If you authorize them to do so, let them open the letters to you and you would know what's going on.
If so, then I think you're jumping to a huge conclusion in assuming the others haven't been mailed yet. Just because several envelopes were mailed at the same time doesn't mean they will arrive at the same time. I would give it at least another week before you start worrying.
I spoke with CIC about my letter and they told me that our photo are not as per spec and need to re-submit them again.
