Is It true that one can get Indian PCC from CGI toronto sameday?

I read somewhere that one can get Indian PCC from CGI toronto in one day. Has anyone got it from CGI toronto ? is it better than BLS centre.

I dont think its one day !! I think it takes 8 - 10 days minimum.

First of all, you cannot get PCC from CGI in toronto,you have to go to the BLS Office. Once you submit the form and pp, pay the fee, it takes apprx 2 weeks (average) for the pp to be couriered to you with the PCC. I think they also have anoption where you can pick up the pp from BLS office as well.

Google the locations of the nearest BLSIndia office if you are looking to take that route.

Yes you can get PCC in one day from consulate in Toronto

Here is the procedure ... Hope this helps

If you need Indian PCC on same day, just visit India Consulate as they have emergency service but you have to pay almost double fee (91 CAD).

You need to carry following docs

1. Indian Passport
2. Police Clearance Application Form http://www.blsindia-canada.com/forms/HCI-CGI_Police%20Clearance%20Certificate%20form.pdf
3. 4 Copies of Police Clearance Reference Form http://www.blsindia-canada.com/forms/HCI_CGI_Police_Clearance_Reference_form.PDF
4. 4 Photographs,as specified here http://www.blsindia-canada.com/photo_spec.php
5. Copy of status document
6. Copy of address proof
7. Bank draft of CAD 91 on the name of "Consulate General of India", Please get this fee verified as it might vary in Vancouver or Ottawa.

In Toronto, there is a Canada post shop in same building that provides photographs, print, photo copy and bank draft services.

Please confirm if they gave it to you the same day (hand to hand) when you were there.

can i apply for this emergency pcc from toronto? i can fly there for this work

I also have the same question, I reside in Alberta and I am wondering if I go to CGI,Torronto they would accept my application for Emergency PCC. It would be very helpful if someone could answer this. I emailed CGI torronto but they would not reply. I called them.. no luck. Thank you in advance for your reply.
