Have you been through such interview?? I have. Mine was an outland application as well and I was already here in Canada too, they called both me and my hubby for interview.....like I've said all their questions was all about our relationship (our married life) and they've asked the mundane questions....

Lived it, went through it. You didn't. It was a landing interview as you've been insisting (coz I got my PR card after that) but IRCC's questions are focused on our relationship since it's under a SPOUSAL APPLICATION......what's he's line of job, birthdates, fave colour (really they did)how long we've been married, where we've lived.....etc.

They don't ask those questions unless they have concerns and need to find out more information. You applied inland, so the questions were most likely to confirm that you still lived together
A landing interview, whether in an office with IRCC or at the border with CBSA, is a simple formality of confirming details on the COPR and for inland apps, confirming they still reside together.
