Hi everybody,

I was trying to check my application status online. i was trying to fill in the sponsor's information but it did not work but when i tried P. Applicant's ( Sponsored Person's ) information it worked but it says we received your file on this date. And does not says anything else.
Is it normal..
And I Sponsorship letter it says I have met the requirement for eligibility as a sponsor. It means they approved the Sponsorship. As simple as it is.

Yes it's normal. You won't see anything now until your status goes 'In Process', you may also see (medical results have been received) which is no indication of anything other than just that.

It depends on the VO but we waited over 6 months before seeing something new in ECAS. (Our processing VO was Manila.)

Will take some time before you can see anything else...
at this time they found the sponsor eligible to sponsor...some sponsor have impediments to sponsor,
for example if they have been in social assistance, in jail, domestic violence, etc. they can not sponsor anybody...

No, they have not approved the sponsorship yet, as I said, at this point they have just approved the person sponsoring you....
that's all.....

Next you will receive a passport request, or a request for further documents.... or they may ask for interview before
they make a decision about the sponsorship....

but you need to wait a little bit more
