hello mohit,
I would suggest, dont book ur tickets before, u just wait for ur visa chc,nd is taking around
2 months for visa stamping,we guys r still waitin pp sent on 26feb.
I agree, although you should get it under a month, but there are no guarantees.
BTW, there is no harm blocking the ticket as long as you are not paying for it, till you get passport. Also you may want to check with airline about change fee. I know some charge like 450$s and some do it for 50$s. Unless you have a job offer, I would suggest you apply for some positions from India get a feel of requirements, prepare for interviews, and then go. Remember cost of living in Canada is much higher than in India and you might not be working for some time
thanx dear frds
as i know delhi CHC sent my Medical And Fee and Passport Request in 20 days of sending my second file
that means they are working very fast
but as u all are still waiting i shud hold my landing in canada for some time
thanx for the help
lets see what other say

Going by the recent trend , 1 to 1.5 months seems to be the average time for return of passports. This is only indicative though ,as variations have been huge ; 7 days to >100 days.

I recon you should not book your tickets before you have visa stamped in your passport. This is what I feed... coz we can never assume how immigration officer is going to take the case... Lets hope for the best...but there is condition mentioned in medical..."you will be called for interview if required"...
Secondly, you can send RPRF in CAD as well as INR... CAD is 490 per applicant and INR is 21440 per applicant... Infants/kids exempted...

SEND RPRF ONLY IN INDIAN RUPEES ONLY THE EXACT AMOUNT AS MENTIONED ON CHC-ND SITE. DO NOT BOOK TICKETS WITHOUT VISA. PATIENCE IS THE NAME OF THE GAME!
