Is 6-7 years gap is acceptd for Canada Study Visa

I had done my msc-it in 2013. After it i am doing job as ofiice administration. Now i am planning to apply for study visa in canada. I have confusion about gap. i am preparing for academic IELTS.i want to know how much gap is accepted.

Any amount of "gap" is OK as long as you as you are able to account for what you were doing during that period.
