I emailed to Winnipeg cic on april 2 2020. I got reply that they are currently reassessed my medical for extension. Applied PR on may 2 2018 ( with spouse) . Got medical request on 24 april 2019 . Then they asked additional documents on 29 Nov 2019. Then they requested ( on 28 feb 2020) my husband’s pcc nd medical again. But they didn’t request my medical . I didn’t get any email about extended medical . I just checked my account yesterday.Now my medical is extended till may 14 2021. I don’t know when i will get passport request...

I have applied for my work permit extension since september. waiting for it. both Permanent residence application and work permit in process. I dont think so it would push anything.As i talked to agent and they said all done just decision need to be taken. But my work permit application is applied since september and current work permit expires on 10th dec. so didnt see any push in application process

I guess we all will have to wait until canada gets the vaccine which is expected somewhere in spring time.
i called few times ircc call centre and every time they said everything is done in your file just waiting for the final decision.

Nothing. There are lots of people who got ppr from new delhi and london office even tho students are getting visa too but yeah our spouses will be on hold until this shit gets over

Literally I’m loosing hope now for this year. Their 100% focus is to clear spousal cases for Canadian citizens and PR

Yea well all we do is stay positive nd wait thats what cic agents told us to do 10000 times

But isnt like something might have been going for our files, coz its been twice or thrice people have got those ghost updates. I know its still funny but this way they are atleast keeping our hope hanging around.
