There is probably an option to select an e-certificate or a paper certificate when you get an invite email. You'll have to search the forum here for ways to contact IRCC to change your options.

If it's a virtual oath you'd just tell them when they are checking your ID.

The only reason why I also selected e-certificate was to get it faster. On the bright side we can't lose our certificate I guess. Anyway, good luck my friend you won't have to deal with these guys anymore.

If you don't get an email by the end of today, dedicate tomorrow to calling. Call all day until you get through. You will get the email probably.
