Yes, it was scheduled for may 9th before the strike at SCR

They requested for OHIP claim summary, I94 details (US entry exit) and Passport scans. I am worried if they are actually taking that long.

it is all about luck, some people got updates within 2 days of sending the requested documents, some like me and you got nothing! I was proactive and submitted CC statements, OHIP summary and all that stuff, knowing I never left Canada!!

My oath ceremony was previously planned for May 2, 2023 and they cancelled it due to strike.
Not sure when it will be rescheduled. Anyone in the same boat?

Only Language, BG and citizenship test completed.

Oath will only be scheduled when all five other sectors are completed.

Got our invites for virtual ceremony on 8th.
Can anyone tell me how the ceremony goes like? IRCC website says the oath and anthem is done together but the invite letter also says the whole thing is 2.5 hours.

Called IRCC this morning to check if oath scheduled for May 8th would happen as planned because I didn’t receive the invite.
Within 10 minutes of hanging up I received oath invitation !!! Good luck to everyone and I hope you get some news soon

Now they have updated the oath date as June 1st 2023 in the portal. so another 1 month of wait

No idea what they will do for my situation.. My original date for the oath is 16 May. No invite or cancellation yet..
