IRCC inconsistencies

Has anyone noticed that pr portal, status tracker, and GC key accounts are not even close to the same?
How can one get an pr approval ad pr portal invitation to fill, and yet the other accounts have stopped updating, or missing information?
Almost six months now.

I think that's a question that not even IRCC can answer...

For me it was GCKEY.
1. The new online tracker still showed background and eligibility not started 3 months after my wife got her COPR and Visa was issued.
2. GCKEY was where we received requests and letters from IRCC. But that is also not perfect. It also didn't show any updates until the day they issued the visa in her passport. It showed everything was complete in GCKEY.

No.

A visitor visa is no longer valid when you are a PR. You either need your PR Card or a returning resident visa to travel via commercial carrier.

I guess more phone calls to try to get an answer as to why the delay.
In my mind, 6 months for that final picture approval, is unacceptable!

It's all in my signature. My wife's application was completed in exactly 6 months from the date we submitted it. She was in Jamaica and her visa office was Kingston JM. At the time of submission, the estimated processing time for Jamaica was 23 months. One thing I learned was don't believe the processing times lines and don't trust the trackers. GCkey had no updates at all until the day they issued her visa. We did however receive all the correspondence from IRCC via GCKEY.

The new online portal was just as unless. My wife application was approved in December 2022, and she landed in February. That portal still says background and eligibility not started.

Am I understanding correctly?

I understood that when one received pr portal invitation, to supply in Canada declaration, confirm mailing address , and supply photo for pr card, that everything else was already completed.

Am I missing something ?

I finally got though to IRCC today, and actually got some one to look deeper.

10 months ago we paid our landing fees!!! It was never attached to our file, was left as an open file!!!

what a mess

we could of had our PR card 3 months ago, or sooner!

Is now 6 month anniversary or portal acceptance, and now they say not sure how long, after their screw up!!

and also now 2 years since initial paper application acceptance
