Nothing yet Called IRCC, said there is a lot of backlog unfortnately! I was asked to reach back again, if the 5 month time passes. Any update on your end?

5 months has already passed on my application. When I called them, they said the same thing, we're still processing your application.

But does this mean we are approved or not? How long for the P1? Everyone else is getting it , why the delay then? Did you try your MP?

Exactly they said same to me and mine is closer to 6 months now. I guess same as you.

It’s doesn’t mean anything. It’s just there is a huge backlog. I read an article this morning it stated that they are working on it to process applications under standard processing times but 18-20% files are still pending and exceeded their standard processing time. And unfortunately according to my understanding we are in that 18-20%

I have a trip schedule for december and I haven't received portal 1 email (GCKey shows final decision Dec 19 - we are processing you're application etc). I'm not sure if I should cancel the trip or not.

What happens if I travel and receive the portal 1 while away? do you guys know anything about a situation like this?

Anyways yes you can leave Canada for your trip and come back on your visa. But when you receive portal 1 email you need to tell ircc that you are currently outside and let them know your returning date. Till you return they usually hold your PR.

Review of medical results - October 20, 2023:You passed the medical exam.

why is it strange?
I also thought it was weird medical exams passed after “final decision” but gckey makes 0 sense in general so not sure.

Yeah that is true actually in your previous post you wrote final Decision Dec 19. It made it strange and weird. Anyways wait is the real game now. We all are waiting since October 4,5,6 & so on. Hoping that we all get all the portals before Christmas holidays.
