IRB decision timeline!

I understand board members have up to 3 months to make a decision after hearing. Anyone know what to do if it exceeds this timeline? Hearing was in January

There is no timeline for a response. Member can technically take as long as they want. In general people hear within 2 months. If the member has decided the same day as the hearing and is on top of their paperwork results are usually sent in 2-3 weeks.

Thank you for your reply, my 2 friends got their letters in the mail in 3 weeks after the hearing, I did some research online and it says 2-3weeks to get the letter, I am confused as to why mine is taking long, anyone know what’s fairly the standard processing time? Please and thank you.

They had regular hearing and no they had to wait for the notice of decision for 3weeks.
