IQAS ECA timeline tracking

Hi guys, I was wondering if sending electronic transcripts to IQAS has any effect on the timeline. Like whether it shortens it or something. Anyone with experience as to that?

I have read exactly one post regarding successful assessment after online transmission of transcripts. It was around August or September 2019.
Usually, Alberta has a trend of getting everything via mail in hard copies, be it AINP applications, IQAS application and transcripts, or anything else that corresponds to Alberta government.

Thanks a lot for your response @rajapanesar . So I guess it will take roughly the same time as well. We are evaluating hubby's cert and it's getting to them electronically. Will update the forum as we go along.

Well, the guy who did it electronically saved around 2 months on the whole thing. Best of luck for your case buddy.

Now the real game starts:

From 28.04.2020 Status changed to "Complete" but it appears only for 2 seconds and after 2-3 seconds status get change to "Final Review"......I don't understand what is this? Sent query to IQAS but no reply since 4 days..

Thats fluctuation stage. You should download your report using the trick...

Sure.

People in fluctuation stage you just need to right click on final review and copy link

In the link change Document/DownloadApplicationForm/ to Document/DownloadApplicationFormFromPortal?id=and paste in browser, make sure you are signed into your account before

eg. if link is https://iqas.labour.alberta.ca/FACS...tionForm/e7e42310-a21d-e911-80e6-005056666d03

change it to https://iqas.labour.alberta.ca/FACS...ortal?id=e7e42310-a21d-e911-80e6-005056666d03

and paste it in your browser.

Hello ,
i am planning to apply for ECA Report form IQAS.
Can someone please help me the better and faster way to validate Transcripts, Mark Sheets, or Grade Reports ? Is it thorough electronically or mail ?

i am little confused here , if i am using the electronic option , I have to break the seal of the transcript envelope and scan and upload it electronically ? Willn't they reject the transcript if i open the sealed envelope for uploading?

Your transcripts will sure be rejected. Electronic delivery from official university email address is the only way that IQAS believe is the transcripts are genuine and not tampered with. Ask your university for electronic submission.

Due to current covid situation , my university can't send it for another 5-6 months but i need the ECA validation little first.
I have my educational transcript in a sealed envelope with me , if i am choosing mail option to send the transcript by myself? will that work ?what is the chances of rejection?
how long will it take for ECA result if i am choosing for mail delivery of transcript? Their website says 14 weeks ?

Considering university can't send the transcript document directly due to current situation , if someone can help me to find an easier alternative way to do ECA validation . I have my educational transcript in a sealed envelope with me

I will advise that you download the recent iqas guidelines per country, It has been updated.
