If the report says ' Master's degree generally compares to the completion of a ONE YEAR Master's degree with a focus in xxx'.

My question is, can we select master's degree in the we profile and claim full points for master's?

Yes you can. However if your education is 4 years graduation plus 2 years full time MBA, most likely IQAS won't mention years of study in equivalency. (A personal experience)

Are you 100% they wont mention years in 4+2 case? I've heard profiles getting rejected as the years are not mentioned in ECA report.

Yes. @SithLord is the biggest example that comes to mind.

People in fluctuation stage you just need to right click on final review and copy link

I was being specific with 2 years full time MBA following a 4 years of graduation. The output is mentioned as "The Master's degree generally compares to the completion of a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus in ……..". This is exactly what is mentioned in my report as well. I am not sure of other degress like MSc or MTech etc. A further testimony of this - https://www.alberta.ca/iqas-education-guide-india.aspx

The ECA didn't mention the duration or equivalency in summary. AFAIK, WES did include all that in the report when they reacted to the cause of rejection being their mistake.

When you say rejection because the number of years are not mentioned, can you elaborate what years are we talking about and where or in which format is it mentioned on the report?

His credentials were 4 years BBA+2 years MBA.

As per IQAS education guide for India if masters of 1.5-2 years is post 4 year degree they wont mention years of study. Things may be different for WES. And things may change depending on the country.. This is just for Indian folks.

The primary reason for my refusal was because WES ECA summary did not include my second credential.

When I consulted with an immigration lawyer, I was told the duration of the second credential does not matter as long as it is mentioned in the summary.

My IQAS Summary only mentions the duration of Bachelor's degree as comparable to 3 year's bachelor's but does not mention any duration for PG Certificate. It simply states that "it compares to the completion of a Graduate Certificate with a focus in xxxx"

According to him my IQAS ECA is correct and I should have sent this instead of WES ECA with my previous application as it qualifies for two or more certificates/diplomas/degrees
