You are just fine. My wife never received AOR1, only got this AOR2 about academic documents received. 30 days later, got her ECA. Don’t worry!

Just like you were, I was also worried that maybe they didn’t receive or lost her application package, that something went wrong. Otherwise, I would have received AOR1, right?

But pay attention that they mention this in your email: “This is to confirm that your academic documents were received by the IQAS office and your file is now placed in line for processing.”

That means that they already have all your necessary documents and your ECA will be processed in the next step.

I guess that sometimes they just randomly skip sending AOR1, which is weird, but ok.

Yes its super weird and you end up thinking you definitely must have done something wrong. Fingers crossed! and thank you for boosting my confidence haha

That's possible. I sent both - the application and the documents at the same time. In separate enveloped though. but hopefully it'll all work out!

Is it necessary that the institution should send the transcripts directly to iqas. My post graduation is sending it directly to iqas but i have the sealed transcripts for my graduation degree with me. Please suggest

get sealed envelops from ur universities. put then in big envelop and send it to IQAS..

From some recent posts its look like, ECA takes upto 40-42 days from AOR 2. They are very slow in processing.

still they faster than ICAS. They take 4 month for total process..

i also got single email of acknowledgement and after 40 days i got my eca softcopy.

How quickly are you guys recieving your hard copy?
Is the time gap between recieving the soft copy and obtaining the hard copy consistent for everyone?
Do spare some time to reply so the newer applicants know what to expect..

Seems like there were no ECA sent out during last week. IQAS has become very slow. A guy on forum received hos AOR2 on 9th april and still no ECA
