Hi all: Please advise me if I am in IP 2 or IP 1 and when should I expect to receive final decision. My application status below:

- Review medical results: You passed the medical exam.
- Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
- Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
- Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you if this changes.
- Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
- Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

When I emailed CPC Ottawa... I got a reply saying "Your file is currently under review at our office in Ottawa. It requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times".. I am worried about the never ending delay now...

There are two "In Process" status in every applications for back ground check. What are IP1 and IP2? why in some period of time it is NA?
How long approximately each stage will take?
(I am Ontario PNP PR, September 2016 applicant)

My CIC status message in the following sections have been changed as follows

Review of medical results: You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes. ( Before: You passed the medical exam)

My Background check has been in this status since Dec 2017.
"We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."


Is it a good change? I have submitted Federal part in August 2016.
