The CICAppStatus app (for iPhone, iPad, and iPod) has been recently updated to show multiple application statuses. This is useful for folks who have applied for more than one concurrent application (i.e. PR Renewal and Citizenship).
The application now shows all statuses from all applications for a certain Client ID with one click and on one screen! Please check it out and let me know your feedback so I can relay it to the publishers. The publishers have listened to your feedback and incorporated many changes you all requested and are looking forward to add more enhancements!

ANOTHER app did not work for me.
Recently (5 days ago), my eCas got updated, but I never received a notification from the eCas-monitoring-software.
It is too risky to rely on such unreliable thing such a software of any kind. At least for citizenship matters.
It basically works like a prefilled form which will authorize you directly to your status in ecas. Faster to check status than to login to the website each time.

The app costs $2, which is a reasonably low cost for an ad-free app.
Please PM me the problems you are having and I will help you get them sorted out as I am using the app myself and have been since it came out and have found no problems other than when CIC changed the layout of the website last year, which was resolved quickly after.

This app does not monitor anything for you. You have to click on a button to retrieve the information from CIC, much like you do when you login except it stores all the information so that you don't have to type it each time. This app will reliably get your status for you each time you ask for it.
