i am now almost 100% sure that its quality spot check interview... instead of any concern....
this is VO's KPI to interview certain number of application in order to identify trends of fake documents.... or misrepresentation.

Stop, Stop, and Stop........if NIC is misplaced and you are issued new NIC there is no change in NIC comes....so no need to update this is secondary document........and if you wife passport is renewed again no change in status of passport just number changed no need to update it and you have to bring latest copy to interview so ya........
Yes there is no change in NIC number and details...but the new card has a different issue and expiry date which is now different form the one provided in the Generic Form...same is the case with Passport...don't you think that this may create confusion during the interview?

If principal passport expires then you must have to update and now case is your spouse you can tell them ......and with PPR1 they asked latest passport copies no confusion is there they can check issuance date .....

Yes Usman this is the reason for what im sure you will not be called for interview you send your original documents with updated so be ready for medical cause when they issue our medical in that phase you will be insallah .......
