Great news, congrats!! My wife's went very well too, she was asked about my job and if I like it or not, what I dont like etc. Maybe we had the same VO. And a few questions about what we wrote in the forms like did I visit her again in 2017, etc. It lasted for about 15-20mins only. Her medical was done upfront so background check went in progress as soon as she left the interview. Now waiting for PPR. Btw, are you a gujarati? My wife said there were lots of gujaratis that day. And another thing, did they take Rs. 1000 from you?
No , i am not gujarati . I am from Delhi. My interview timing was 8.45 am , i was the first one to enter inside waiting hall interview started around 9.15 am . i saw most of the interviewees with interpreters. They dint change me anything.
Oh thats really convenient, you didn't have to travel a long way to go to Delhi! I think our VO was the same then, my wife had her interview at the same time as you, but hers started right away. BTW, your process was really fast, are you a PR applicant, is your husband a PR / citizen?

They ask you to bring passport as if medical is still valid and interview goes well then they stamp visa at interview. I had my interview the last week of May and received visa immediately after interview. Good luck!

Thanks!! Yes actually her background check only took 1 day. I checked GCkey as soon as the interview was over and background check was already in progress. The next day, status changed to "Decision made". I think if you havnt travelled to different countries background check doesn't take too long to complete.
How did yous submit PCC to NDVO. I got aor2 email few days back and they have requested pcc from me but the instructions are not clear where to send it and how to send it and all.
Did you send original pcc or a scanned copy? and how?
