Hello there,
I am a PhD student in Alberta. Just started my PhD 9/2016 after I finished my MSc 9/2014-4/2016 at the same school.
As a part of my degrees I am doing my duties as a research and teaching assistant, and doing another job on-campus. However, all my work cannot be counted as a Canadian experience as I am in Canada on a student visa, also I don't have 1 full year foreign experience to be considered for FSW.
To my understanding of the current rules, I am not eligible to apply for express entry till the end of my PhD, and that time I will be in Canada for more than 6 (2014-2022) years. Any similar cases or non-classical tips?

Is there any specific migration program for PhD holder who completed studies outside of Canada and being in outland?
