Hi! I am also applying for under 1233 and now asking for a reference letter from my manager. Can you also send me your sample? Please please, that would be very much appreciated. This is my email: chessad @ meditab.com... Thanks!!
I have an overall 6 years of experience in Health insurance, reinsurance processing. I have applied for Canada immigration under NOC 1233 ( Insurance Adjusters and Claims Examiners) and the application was delivered on June 2nd to Halifax.
Could you please advice when i would be likely to receive file number and what are the chances of successsful immigration under this NOC. I have submitted all the requested documents!!!
Can I please ask for a sample copy of your reference letter? I am still preparing my
papers for NOC 1233. I am doing some functions related to processing of claims related
to life insurance. My email add is annierllaneta@yahoo.com.
My first post in here. I think this site in general and the seniors in particular are doing a great service to all the potential immigrants by helping them with their queries. So hats off to you guys. now lets get down to business
My wife is also thinking of applying under the 1233 category. I have got a couple of questions
Q1, She was in the customer support department of a very large life insurance company here in Pakistan. Her job title was "customer support executive - client services department" so no mention of the word "claim" any where in there. Having said that, a lot of her job responsibilities however matched what is required from a claim examiner . So can she apply?
Q2, Secondly she has got an MBA degree but no additional insurance related certifications or training . Is that a problem ?
Q3, If the Answer to the above question is Yes, then what does a "claim examiner" need in terms of certification or training to apply for the 1233 category?
Q4, Finally, people who have applied under the category. can they please let me know what is their academic qualification or training /certification which helped them in applying for 1233.
Also a request. Can i please have the work experience reference letter from people who have applied?
First of all let me address your question on designation.. CIC is aware that the designation or title changes from country to country and they are not worried more about the designation. the most important thing is to match with the roles and responsibilities of any NOC you are appying for.. For that you will have to provide a reference letter from your wife's immediate supervisor / manger or from HR department stating these are her roles and responsibilities in the compnay letter had. Also, she will have to provide all employment related documents such as pay slips and bank statements, appointment letters to substantiate the claim.....
