Hi,
I just applied to my PGWP and my spouse's open work permit will expire in April. I know that he can not work once his work permit is expired, and he needs my PGWP answer to extend his. Is there a way to accelerate the process so he does not have to stop working for a long time? Anyone has experienced something like this?
Nope. Current PGWP processing time is 165–170 days. You should expect to hear from IRCC by the end of June or mid-July regarding a decision made on your application. If processing times reduce, then you could get a decision sooner, but there is no way of expediting it.
