Inland sponsorship file transferred to local office meaning? Help please

Applied for inland spousal sponsorship in July 2016. Medical passed, sponsor approved. Now I got a letter the file has been transferred to Edmonton local office. What does this mean? Has anyone experienced this please help

Generally, it means that IRCC has concerns about your app and is going to request an interview.

When an app is transferred to a local office, there are no timelines. It is entirely based on the individual app.

Still haven’t heard anything yet. I contacted them they said Edmonton office processing time is 12 months. So I’m still waiting? What’s ur situation?
