So I got my landing appointment in Vancouver but unfortunately I can’t make it on that day.
Does anyone have any experience rescheduling it? What’s the best way to contact them ? Email or call? Usually how long they actually contact back with a new appointment?
I emailed and call them. They confirmed they have received my request and the agent sent another message to Vancouver office as well but still has not heard anything back yet. Mine is on this Wednesday as well. If you are worried that they did not get your email, call them. At least you know they got your message.
Can someone please advise me what are documents i need to bring for my landing interview at Vancouver office and also please let me know the address of office as I didn’t get landing email but got confirmed by cic call centre to go there on the day. Reply would be much appreciated. Thanks
1. Bring your passport
2. Take down notes of your original and last entry date to Canada. You can also bring proof to substantiate them.
3. Two photographs or ID photos, just like what you sent the cpc when you applied for PR. But I guess it has to be the latest photo of you. (I am going to get my ID Picture tomorrow)
4. Proof of payment of the P. Residence Fee.
5. Current and expired Temporary Resident Status such as your Open Work Permit if you have, ETA, Temp Resident Visa for Tourist etc.
Hi guys
My interview date is 6 September in Van office. But my husband (sponsor) have lost his PR card and Landing paper. Do immigration officers request to see the sponsor’s original documents as well?
Inland landing interview email: Aug 15
Landing interview: Aug 27
CoPR: Aug 27
Appointment was at 2pm, office has some serious space constraints. Agent was friendly, asked for photos, valid and expired permits and then asked me to initial next to three questions. Took 15 mins and I was issued CoPR.
Agent informed that the PR card should be received within 3-4 weeks.
Good luck guys and thanks for your valuable input!
You can travel to the US right after, however, you can only travel using a private vehicle, meaning you cannot fly or take the train, or even rent a car.
