Though they say they will invest $100 million for this sake, there will be always impact on existing VO workforce when some additional work undertaken. But who knows exactly who will be impacted. When EE was introduced all the paper processes were delayed. Work Permit processing has become slower. On humanity perspective, this is a good initiative.
The promise of EE is that instead of being applicant centric, it would be controlled by CIC. That's CIC will invite applicants who seems to be eligible and number of applicants is limited so that VO can process quickly and effectively. Applicants with high score more suitable and easily adaptable to Canadian environment don't wait in the queue; they jump in when they have enough points. The real story is different. FSW Inland who are suitable / adaptable to Canadian Environment with good score are delayed. Unless the new government pumps in money in this system, Express Entry will be no longer "Express".

I agree, who knows if it will impact our processing time or not (let's hope for the best!), though I think there are many people among the refugees who need this way more than us. I can personally wait a little longer.
My guess July applicants wont see anything till end of this month !
Given that almost all June applicants where processed in last week of October.
I know I am grasping at straws, given that CIC never has any concrete trends ( like ghost emails has resulted in nothing for July applicants even after 3 weeks )!
But guessing keeps us occupied

I am worried and tensed.
I don't understand why there is no movement for more than two weeks for any of us.
I think CIC started looking at the refugees process.
This week is my hope and am hoping to get the good news for everyone.

I am kind of sure that they are indeed looking at refugee process, I just hope it does not screw up people whose work permit are running to an end!
peoples life are at stake all around ! :-\
I submitted the application on first week of July , I am now beating myself up for not submitting it a week before !

I can understand your situation!
Same thing with me and my ITA is May 22 and the lawyers submitted the application in July 15. Now the wait kills me and also my work permit is going to expire by December.
Received (on NOV. 7 ) a ghost Email from CIC telling that my application was updated.. But Still My CiC and ECAS the same..
no DM no PPR so far
Hope is a good sign Smiley
