No it won't affect you getting PR since your Express Entry profile is based on experience and qualifications already gained and not ongoing.
However on a personal note I would stay put until I hear from CIC re my application, unless there is an emergency and I have to go back home. But thats just my personal advice. If you decide to go back home it won't affect your application.

You can order notes relating to your application by mail or online for $5.00. Processing times is about 30 days.
