So I got an email with a landing interview letter on June 19, 2019. It stated that I have an appointment for a landing interview on 5th July 2019. In that letter, they asked for standard documents such as two recent photographs, passport, SIN.
However, yesterday (June 29, 2019), we had a physical mail in our mailbox from the Immigration office which was dated June 12, 2019. The letter states that I have met the eligibility requirement but also asked for additional documents. These are
1) IMM 0008 Generic Application form,
2) IMM 5669 Schedule A Background/Declaration form,
3) Police certificates (for countries I lived in for more than 6 months since the age of 18 years),
4) Immigration medical Exam,
5) Receipt of Right of Permanent Residence Fee.
One thing for sure I know that I had not received this letter between June 12, 2019, to June 19, 2019. It has come after it and as I said earlier I saw it in my mailbox yesterday. I am super confused now that If they needed the above-mentioned documents then why would they issue me a landing interview letter a week later? Also, I did submit my medical when my application was in progress upon THEIR own request and it appeared as PASSED later on. Now I am just 5 days away from interview day. Should I get the documents along with me anyway?? In that case, I won't get the Police certificate and Medical exam in 5 days. Could this just be a mistake from them? Please guide asap.
