Something moved last week when I received AIP and was hopeful to get DM but nothing yet. This process is so hard and mentally draining eh! My estimated time changed today to 10 weeks...

My Background check started yesterday. My file was moved from the Montreal office to the Calgary Office

They gave me until May 19 to submit, and I just submit them today. I guess they are processing the Aug application now.

I give up ...August 16th Applicant ... I'll wait the full year. That's what they are dragging it out too. I'm fed up ...BGC 4 weeks now no change. I give up. Thank goodness I have my OWP. I'm working ...they can take their time.

How did you find out it was moved to Calgary?

At this rate I’ll feel lucky if they even start my background check at 12 months, frankly. Still no movement at all.

I think I need to stay out of the September/October/November threads for my own mental well-being at this point I’m happy for them, I suppose, but this is so frustrating. I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be for July and earlier applicants still waiting!

How did you find out it was moved to Calgary?

I sent an email to the Minister of Immigration and that’s what they told me when they answered back. I think that all applications after SA are moved to the local office
