I just checked my cic page and it changed to they are reviewing the eligibility. And the BGC has also changed to your application is in progress we will send you a message when we start your bgc. Does anybody know how long after to get SA?

And when you guys are saying you get DM on sponsor side, what does that mean exactly? How do I check that too?

I guess you may get SA very soon. In my case, it cost 1 day to get SA after the status changed to reviewing the eligibility.
I am still waiting for my AIP, already one week now after I got SA.

Does your BGC say: "Your application is in progress" or does it say "We are processing your background check"?
If it's the first then they haven't really started yet...
Did you get your SA from Montreal Hub?

Yes, the Montreal hub. It says the first comment..which I know means they haven't actually started it yet. I just wondered how long we are looking at waiting for that part to take.

I don't think anyone with an app in the Montreal Hub has progressed past SA approval. One person on here said it took them 2 weeks for it to change to "processing" but their app was processed in Van.
Hopefully soon!

1)Any Winnipeg hubs out there have your background check done already? OR when did your change to "Background check has begun."

2)If they need more info from us, will they call? or email? I have received a couple of calls from numbers I don't recognize. They don't leave a number and when I return the call it says "Number is not in service". (maybe a spam call?)

Got sa letter today. How do you know which office process your app?

Look at the bottom of your approval letter. It will say which hub. for example mine said, "Hub Montreal"

Got dm for sa some when earlier last week. Cic change to reviewing eligibility on the same day. Only got sa letter today

Yes! You were right it took 1 day to get, I got SA today!! Thank you! I will be waiting on my AIP too! Let’s keep crossing our fingers!

1) My status says " We are processing your background check". This status is almost from two weeks I believe.

2) I believe CIC will never call you. All communication will be over email or regular mail.
