I'm following the updates form July applicants and from our mates from August and it seems that this month we all gonna have some updates.

My husband is also an applicant from Quebec! They started processing our sponsorship application on Feb. 28th! Our PR application was received on Aug. 22.

WOW! There are a LOT of updates it seems this month, eh? I see where they "started processing my PR app on Feb 21" which is a GOOD sign, I think, but my Background check hasn't started. Is there anyone out there who BC hasn't started? Should I be concerned????

i applied in ontario but now im in nova scotia (its been just 2 months) i changed my add so i need to come to ontario for landing interview?

Honestly the new var is useless.
Instead of seeing "12 months" when looking up average processing time, you see a bar in your account that shows the estimation to be at 12 months after you applied lol. So nothing new and enlightening!

August 7 app - status just changed to started reviewing app for eligibility, and the background check changed status changed from "Not Applicable" to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."
