Did you get confirmation on your eligibility and background check before approval?

Hey,
I applied in January 23rd,2024 and received my AOR in Feb 01,2024. Only my medical and biometrics is marked completed and background check is in progress with criminality completed. But my eligibility has not started yet. Hasn't received sponsor approval too. Is this normal?

Feb 01: AOR
Feb 28: Biometrics request letter
May 17: Additional documents requested from ircc
June 14: Documents submitted
June 14: SA
July 13: PAL
July 17: APR decision letter/AIP
Sep 11: P1 email
Sep 25: P2 email
Waiting for Ecopr

Please for someone who has been out of status and not eligible for restoration, how do I get a work permit after AIP. Do i submit a restoration of status together with my PR application or what

Status as of today (Dec 5, 2024):
We both received Eligibility completed emails. Also, she already received the Pre-arrival services info pdf letter in email before Eligibility Completed.

Question:
In her Application Tracker, it shows 'Eligibility' completed, Biometrics and Background verification 'In progress' and Medical 'Not started' (might not be required as it is inland appn.)
Could someone help with an approximate timeline for next steps? I know it could vary for different applications, but kindly share your experience / thoughts.

Status as of today (Dec 5, 2024):
We both received Eligibility completed emails. Also, she already received the Pre-arrival services info pdf letter in email before Eligibility Completed.

Question:
In her Application Tracker, it shows 'Eligibility' completed, Biometrics and Background verification 'In progress' and Medical 'Not started' (might not be required as it is inland appn.)
Could someone help with an approximate timeline for next steps? I know it could vary for different applications, but kindly share your experience / thoughts.

Did you provide medical already? If not they will definitely send you to go do medical. When did you apply ? Share timeline please

No they didn't ask for medical yet. But she has been in Canada since 2019 and did a Medical in 2022. Also, the biometrics are valid until 2029.
We submitted the application in October

Ok inland processing is about 10 months , some are less. Normally background is the longest though.. you will see movements here and there and then completely silent .. but go over to October inland thread and see if anyone has similar app like yours
