I agree with @browning911 it will all depends on the reason the letter will state. The MP can be very helpful and if you can address CIC's concerns, to reapply might be the best.

SA: sponsor approval. (If you didn't get it already)
AIP: approval in principle (also if you didn't get it yet)
DM: decision made letter. SA and AIP could come before or after medical, but DM comes only after medical.
After DM, your application is transferred to your local office. Your local office will contact you to give you an appointment for landing. Depending on your location, you will land 2-10 weeks after DM.

I landed APRIL 13, 2017 and up until now I havent received my PR card yet. Is there anyone here facing same problem? Anyone who landed same date/almost the same date as me? I wonder why its almost 2 months now.

My wife landed May 26, but we were told 6-8 weeks for the PR card. Maybe wait another week and if you don't receive it, try calling CIC.

Thx for your reply! I had sponsorship aproval first, within the first 6 months of turning app in.
Adopt a year ado I had criminal request and last month medical. My status just shows 3 lines tho....1 app started 2 was we request info (criminal) that was done and 3 is medical recived. But that's it. Hope this is the last stage and get dm soon.

After waiting almost a month after my relationship interview I found out today that my application was refused.
What are my options?
I haven't receive the letter as yet so I don't know the reasons for the refusal.

The immigration lady called to confirm my mailing address and I figured it out and I called cic and got the automated messages.

I am waiting on the official letter to file a Federal court appeal

What did the messages say? Usually there is a procedural fairness letter... Did you get one?

There is no appeal inland...

I usually watch inland 2016.. you may want to post there or pm me... I'll try to help...

Get the letter, put in a request for all the case notes on your file cuz the letter may not state the full reason(s) or full detail(s) for denial. Then you'll have to apply again.
