I'm a bit confused this morning...
My ecas (sponsor) shows sponsorship application status: In Process; Permanent Residence Application Status: Decision Made
My wife's ecas shows Permanent Residence Application Status: Decision Made
My wife's "mycic" do not show final decision.

So my ECAS is not updated for SA, but has DM on the PA side. My wife's mycic do not even show review of eligibility passed in the status details, although there is a letter confirming AIP and mycic do not show final decision....

It looks like we got DM right after SA and AIP... but I will wait for an official confirmation before celebrating!

Feb 21st DM, still waiting. Called CIC and they said that it may take upto 7 weeks.

Thanks was just about to attempt calling them guess no point in doing that

I just got my interview letter from Etobicoke office about 5 mins ago. Interview is on the 25th of March just 4 days away.

you received your DM on Feb 21st right? I didn't know that they open on Saturdays which is the 25th.

They might want to call CIC as according to CIC website, that office is only open Monday - Friday, and like you said, the 25th is a Saturday. http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/tbsc-fsco/sc-dsp.jsp?rc=3589&lang=eng

Hello all,

my husband has got an email for his inland spouse sponsorship saying that he will be contacted for an interview. My question is how will he be contacted (email or phone since he is out of canada for a few weeks)? Also should the sponsor also be present for the interview (who is me)?
Finally how long you think it takes to get the appointment?

Maybe they're backlogged with appointments and wants to clear as many interviews as possible on Saturday ? not sure.
