Just wanted to update the system. I don't remember when half my stuff happened but I know I got my work permit in early 2016. Just landed yesterday with confirmation of PR in hand. I received a lot of help from here-actually more than the immigration consultant I paid $3000 for. They didn't even know about the OWP for spousal PR. Anyway my journey is over. Next stop citizenship. Goodbye all and good luck.
Yes, though most of the information is common. I suggest putting 2 request one for sponsor and one for applicant but others may have a different opinion
Thank you, so my husband would have to fill out the "Consent for an Access to Information and Personal Information Request" form in order for us to receive his notes?

GCMS (Global Case Management System) notes are all governmental notes regarding your application. You can order them under the Privacy Act (free) as you are from within Canada. This will allow you to see if there is any mistake in the information they entered or if anything is missing. The Access to Information Act would give you the same, but would cost 5$, so make sure to use to request your GCMS notes under the Privacy Act.
Actually, just fill out one of these: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/form-imm5744.asp (PA is section A, Sponsor is section C, sign and date), then have the sponsor apply for the notes. They will send it in one package with no redacted parts (you cannot request the private/personal information of another person without the consent form).
Just received my PR card in the mail on Friday (March 10). My landing appt was on January 31st for reference- pretty much in line with what others have said- it took almost exactly 6 weeks to receive in the mail. So relieved and greatful to have the immigration and CIC journey behind me and finally be able to just purely enjoy life in Canada with my family ;D Good luck to the rest of 2015'ers... it will all work out in the end!
I just ordered GCMS notes for myself (main applicant). Since we got AIP and I am living in Canada, I ordered the GCMS for PR case notes. Cost me $5. I remember I chose resident in Canada, blah blah..... not very much.... :
I hope I got everything right. Otherwise I will just wait for the 26 months line which is this October..... :-X

You can order your note under two different acts: Privacy act or the Access to Information Act when you are within Canada. The privacy act is free, but the access to information act cost 5$. When applying from outside Canada, only the access to information act is available.
I wish you the best, and you're not alone... we are august 2015 applicants, with no SA, no AIP,... just nothing for no particular reason. Hopefully, IRCC will work on the remaining 2015 applications soon.
