I got mine too!!! omg, maybe we will have same landing date and place??? LOL i heard 6 weeks.. another 1.5 months.. we are getting there!

DM letter said Etobicoke will be contacting me. I am August 25th applicant. Another 6-8 weeks wait.... hehehehe we waited for 18 months for our papers so 2 months is nothing! LOL however, i pray it will come soon!!! Lets celebrate when that happens!

I wish they can send a e-mail and confirm the landing date, can be 6 weeks away.

Hi all. I am January 6, 2016 applicant. I received AIP and Medical Request yesterday however, I never received any SA. Now, I am due to pay the remaining $490.00. Is it the right time to pay it now when I am ready to send my medical or wait until I am notified by CIC?

I believe you should pay it right now and send the receipt using case specific enquiry

Hello Nice to meet you. I'm new here and I'm sorry if i'm in the wrong spot. I just really wanted to know where I stand with my application. Here is the information I have.

My husband(RP) is sponsoring me(Japanese). We applied within Canada.
Application received on Nov. 30th, 2015 via Canada post tracking.
I got my open work permit on Feb 27th, 2016.
I got AOR on May 31st, 2016.
I got Sponsor Approval on June 20th, 2016. On the same day, cic asked me to submit extra documents by July 20th, 2016. I have send these extra documents on June 28th, 2016.
I got Approval of the Applicant on Aug 26th, 2016.

After that, I hear nothing from CIC and getting worried if my case is moving forward at all. When I log in to online account to check, Permanent Residence Application Status says application received. and if I click that to see details, it only state those three:

1.We received your application for permanent residence on November 30, 2015.
2.Medical results have been received.
3.We sent you correspondence on June 20, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Am I okay? How are do I have more to go? What and how long should I expect?

I Just got a email from CIC-Mississauga... saying that our app has been completed and they will contact us for a interview!!!

436 days since app received. (14.04 months)

Happy happy and with fingers crossed for everyone who still waiting.

Well, just met today, ended up explaining our situation related to our religion as an affidavit for CIC. We are at the place where we have left with no other option. Thats right.. we sent extra 492 pages of viber text. ;D
