You still have to bring your passport too. But yes, Sponsor only needs to bring an Ontario ID card (Ontario ID, DL, etc).

I don't have ontario Id card can use my ohip card or canadian passport

Is any of you that landed in Montreal recently?
we got DM on March 21st and were told that Montreal takes about 8 weeks for appointment. So, I'm not surprise for not having news so far since the DM, but my question is how long in advance do they send you the appointment? And was it indeed about 8 weeks between DM and landing interview for you?

I'm kind of helpless here. I wish I had news on the MTL office -- but I really don't. I really believe they are inundated with the Trumpugee crisis.

Maybe try the call centre to see if they can help? Or your MP (this might be more helpful, than the crappy call centre).

You could always offer to go for a drive to Kitchener, ON. They seem to send landing invitations within a couple days, and the appointment is for less than a week from that date. Though only kidding, I wouldn't drive from QC -- probably just take a flight or a train...

ok there is no point if your doing landing
