Information regarding IRCC

Hello

I applied for my visa in November 2022 for January intake. But i got visa approval on 22nd January, 2023 and I could not join in the January intake. My admission offer was valid upto may intake and it was clearly mentioned in my offer letter. I am going to join in May. I have already talked about this with the program co-ordinator and my professor. Do i still need to inform IRCC that i am going to join the May though it was clearly mentioned in my offer letter? I have not submitted my passport yet.

You don't need to inform IRCC, the gap in your case is less than 150 days anyway.

Don't forget to present your new LOA to CBSA when you land. Else, you might get a WP duration based from your old LOA.
