Indirect route from India

Hi everyone, I am trying to book an indirect flight as well but all the options I have include a short layover at London Heathrow Airport. Given that London also has restrictions for people coming from India will they allow us to board the flight to London and move on to the next destination without quarantine?

What exactly are you trying to do? You won't be able to board to London unless you can demonstrate you can enter final destination. You will need to enter an another country before entering Canada for all practical purposes. Transiting should be allowed.

No, indian passengers are allowed for transit only, i.e we can only pass through dubai to another country, atleast thats what emirates rep said

Afaik as per air bubble arrangement only direct flights to/from partner countries are allowed, transits aren't. This wasn't enforced last time I was in Dubai, YMMV but something to keep in mind. You will also need to enter another country to do the RT-PCR.
