INDIAN PCC- DOES PRESENT ADDRESS AND PASSPORT ADDRESS NEED TO BE SAME

I also having the similar issue.

I am in Canada on work permit
I am applying for PR and having a question related to address in PCC form

My parents have moved to new house at a different address last year.
My passport still have old address ( house at old address is demolished and is a plot only now)

So which address should I enter in PCC form
a) Address in passport
b) New Address where my parents have moved?

I was just working on filling up my PCC details in the form. And i am on the same boat like you. I have given the new address. Hope that is the right thing to do. Please share if you get to know that is not the right way.

I have gave the address in which my parents are residing right now (not the one mentioned in the passport). The reason for providing the current address is that Police may verify that address before providing PCC.

It took 4.5 weeks for me to get the PCC from the date I applied.

I applied for PCC in the first week of September and received in PCC in the first week of October.

Yes, Police asked my parent to come and provide the Aadhar card for identification & address proof and 10th 12Th certificates for verification purpose.
