Same here with the Surrey Centre.

Almost 4 weeks , no update.Thats not normal .did u try to call

I have a similar situation too, send the Postal application to BLS Surrey on Oct 23 and delivered on Oct 25.
No updates in BLS tracker yet.

Same here, my package was picked up on Oct 27th by Purolator and the tracker shows that it got delivered at PORT KELLS (Surrey) on Oct 28th.
The application status on BLS showing as below -

When did u see the status on bls,it normally takes 2-3 weeks

Current Status: Surrender certificate has been granted and is available for issuance.

Many times. The guys at the call centre are useless. They are stationed in India. Have no idea where my application is or if its even been opened.

So it takes 4 to 5 weeks aprpox.

A qq ...does it matter where your passport was issued (not sure if it does). If your PP was issued in Toronto - does it make the process any faster.

I don't think so. The consulate does processing in batches. A friend submitted it after a week, and she has the same timeline as me.

It’s instant as soon as you submit the application on BLS. This status is BLS internal it just shows that application was submitted. I am waiting to get the real status when my application moves into the processing.

Can anyone tell me please for Applying Entry visa on application there is question-
1-Passport details - is this Indian passport or Canadian passport details?
2-Any other valid passport/ dual nationality held?

Hi Guys, is anyone going to do a walk-in in Toronto BLS (1448 Lawrence Ave E) let me know if we can go together, it's better to have company. I guess we have to go there early morning around 4 AM. I am thinking to go there on Sunday night technically Monday early morning for citizenship surrender. Thanks.

I submitted my Surrender application in early October.
Status on Indian Consulate site changed to Certificate printed in the week of Oct 17th.
Just called up BLS and they have dispatched the certificate.
So average processing time is 3-4 weeks for the Surrender Certificate.

And OCI takes another 8 weeks (Approximately)
I wish Indian Consulate had clubbed both these applications together.
