It was appointment at 1:00 pm but lady behind me had no appointment and she came at 12 and was at counter by 1:20

Applied in Ottawa walk in on Sept 3, 2023. Still no update. Status on Passport-Seva: Surrender certificate is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate.

I think @forw.jane was mentioning this earlier that processing throw Ottawa is lot slower these days compared to Toronto and Vancouver. It took @forw.jane 5 week if I remember correctly

Yes it's getting worse n worse for Ottawa. OCI today came for one after 10 weeks 4 days.

Submitted my Surrender certificate application on Sep. 11th at BLS Montreal and currently status showing ‘Processing at High Commission’. After reading this thread I guess I need to be patient. Lol
