@Gridlock@21 - based on experience, once the passport has reached Canada , it will stay at the consulate for approx a week - once dispatched from consulate to BLS ( it generally gets delivered the next day and then if couriered to you - a few day till it gets delivered.

does the passport get printed in Toronto or in India? the status at passport seva says "Passport has been printed". Wondering if we can collect it from CGI or BLS, as we have a flight for 24th Dec?
 
I had my police verification done for PCC on same indian address that i am using for Passport's "other" or indian address. Does anyone knows if they will do another police verification?

Hey what was your current timeline? For passport renewal? I am going to apply and wondering about the timelines to see if I should go the normal route or Tatkal ? Will be helpful if you can tell me how many weeks it’s taking recently
 
This is for BLS Toronto, My status for passport renewal (normal 36 pages) shows 'Print has been initiated' since 13 December, do we know current timeline for passport to be printed?

From the 16th till date, I don't see any change in status. Still the same passport has been printed, and nothing in the BLS portal as well. Whats your status ?

Hi, Did you check with consulate to see if you can pickup your passport before it's they can ship to bls?

I don't think there is an option to pick from the consulate directly. I believe everything will be routed to BLS and BLS is going to send it to us.

Ok, I thought we could request for pickup. Not sure if anyone was able to do that in the past.
 
What’s end to end timeline for passport renewal(no changes) - anyone who applied recently please share your timelines. Confused between normal and Tatkal. Does Tatkal actually come within a week
