Indian born baby application for Canadian citizenship carf

Hi Leon / Any one who applied from India,
Can you pls tell for the new born out side Canada, the application needs original of Baby's birth certificate, Canadian parents citizenship certificate, marriage certificate. My question is do you guys know, when do they return the original? is it mandatory to send all the original they have asked for? or whats the procedure?

1. Not according to the instructions:

The first time you apply

If this is the first time you are applying, you will need to send the original, or a clear and easy–to-read copy, of all documents. Copies must be certified. This means a person approved by CIC must compare the original document to the copy and confirm that they are the same. You can find more information about this in Part 1 of the application guide.
