I'm Mexican, and my husband is Canadian (born in Canada), our baby's coming, but he/she will be born in Mexico. My husband wants the baby to have the citizenship. In Mexico, we use both last names (father and mother) in the birth certificate, it is always the father's last name first, for example Emma (name) Hough (father's last name) Ramirez (mother's last name). Is it true that here in Mexico i have to register the baby in the Canadian way (name and father's last name ONLY!!!) in order for my baby to get the Canadian citizenship because of her/his father???? PLS HELP MEE!!!

You can do it as you suggested, both surnames in Mexico and father's surname in Canada. Canadians only use one surname so if you want your baby to use yours, most Canadians will think her last name is yours, so as much as it pains you she won't use your last name in Canada, that is something you must part with. As PMM said, the only thing that matters for your baby to get the citizenship is that both of you appear on the birth certificate.
