India PCC from Toronto

The was reading through the forum and I just checked the status. it is changed now

Status

Police Verification Report is clear.PCC is available for issuance.

My friend in India verified that the authority have already cleared from local police station and main city headquarter.
The ball is in Indian embassy's court. And I know they will take weeks to move it from one table to another table. God Bless Indian Babu.

Today, I sent email like around 9 AM saying that my PCC is clear and available for issuance, and asked them to print. Luckily, now, my application status shows that it has been printed. You guys can do the same too!

Can we walk in to BLS to submit the form and photos? I am in TOronto it says appointment only but not sure if it applies to PCC

At BLS entry point , you will be asked your appointment reference number. Without it they won’t let you in.

right now appointments are not available until March in Toronto, am i missing something? appointment type would be passport right?

Appointment type is passport for PCC. There are delays and there are no more appointments until weeks.

or if you want to try your luck and check if they can let you in. But they won't anyone let in without appointments. It is in their befits too, eventually more people will use courier service and it cost more than walk in. Plus , if you had made any mistake then your application will be returned back via courier too and you have to correct your mistake, buy another courier service and send it.

Hi All,

I am going to complete 1 year of Canadian experience soon. I am travelling to India for a short trip next month. Can I get my PCC from India itself through PSK during this trip? Ircc site says for a country you don't stay currently below condition applies for pcc-

For any other country
For any other country, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row

Since my trip will only be of 3 weeks, would PCC obtained during this time from India be valid for cec application in near future?

Thanks Nash, I am anyways going to India soon I think I will just get it done from there. My passport was issued in US so I thought it would take 4 weeks there but here seems to take longer.
