I submitted my application on 28th of June, and police verification is completed on 10th July, however since then my status is showing as
"Police Verification has been initiated and a request has been sent to Indian Embassy/Consulate. PCC needs to be collected from the Indian Embassy/Consulate where the applicant applied after a 'Clear' Police Verification Report is received at the Indian Embassy/Consulate"
I tried checking with local and SP police station, as per them its been cleared from there queue, however there is no update so far.
I tried reaching out to BLS, they dont have any update as such.
is there anyone who is in same situation?
how long it takes to get updated status post police clears the file?
Hi Ajit,
Its the same status for mine and my spouse since 21st June. Local police station said that the file has been submitted to SP office and the rest of process will follow from SP office but no update afterward. Not sure where to follow up and whom to check now.

Long time back in 2015 or so, I had to grease the gears in SP office in Pune to get them in motion for completion of police verification for passport. I do not know if that "process" still exist.
My status on the portal still shows “Police Clearance Certificate has been printed.”, but my pcc was delivered to me today. Done with the ordeal finally.
I received my pcc today
My pcc timeline

Reached consulate general -6 th July
Police verification initiate email with CAT - 7 July
Police verification complete -Parents visited police station on 11 July
Pcc is clear and available for issue - 15 July
Pcc printed -26 July

Received pcc - 29 July

I checked with SP office as well, as per them they have cleared the file on same day. after little investigation I checked with Consulate general of India in Toronto, As per them in some cases it takes 2 -3 weeks to get updated status on Passport Seva Kendra. (it depends upon how busy your PSK office is).
Once its updated you are good to go.

Hi Ajit,
Yes, there is no other option other than to wait.
You may be right as mine is in the Bangalore SP office and it would have been delayed as they said it takes 3 working weeks for them to send the report to Regional Passport Office. When I called SP Office they responded it will take 21 working days to reflect the report.
I am worried as its already going to be 2 months now and there is no movement.
reached out to Consulate Toronto and they responded that it's pending verification from Bangalore, India.
