Could i get some advice on what to do with the affidavit for change of appearance, my passport is nearly 8 years old and i was 14 back then, I am wearing a turban in that photo and do not have a beard. My current photo has my hair down and I have a beard. Im not sure how to go about getting the affidavit processed/ what details to enter, and is it even necessary
Just want to ask a question. I am a foreign and stayed for 6 months in India and now I need to get PCC for my PR application in Canada.
When you use pick up did you guys just provided the copies of the requested documents and not the original?

Sent to Bls: 16 Feb
Able to track the file on Bls: 20Feb
File sent to consulate: 21 Feb
Police verification initiated: 25 Feb
Verification by police: 26th Feb
Police officials said they sent the verification back to I think RPO on 27th but there is no movement after that. Do you guys know how many days it takes to change status from police verification to PCC printed?
Hi Guys,
Its been more than a week that my application states:"Police Verification has been initiated and a request has been sent to Indian Embassy/Consulate. PCC needs to be collected from the Indian Embassy/Consulate where the applicant applied after a 'Clear' Police Verification Report is received at the Indian Embassy/Consulate."
Police station confirmed that they have processed the file.Tried calling multiple times to the RPO office, no one picks the call or responds back over email. Dropped an email to CGI Toronto but havent heard back.
Appreciate if anyone can shed some light on what more can be done to receive traction on whether RPO has sent the file from their end or not. Its been more than a month for the entire process of PCC now!
Guys, a humble request..I am an Indian citizen and I am here in Canada for the past 13 months on Work Permit. I received my ITA last week. I need to apply for the PCC. Can someone please list out the details on how can I apply for the PCC? This will be really beneficial for new folks like me. I have been backtracking on this thread from page 218 but have not been able to find out the process details till page 206.
Your help here will be highly appreciated. Also, in addition to the PCC from India, do I need a PCC for my duration of stay here n Canada too? Thanks so much!

It's better to visit BLS website(blsindia-canada) for the latest instructions. We never know when they will change/update the process.
At this time of writing, below is the flow
BLS -> Consulate -> SP office in India -> Local police station -> Sp office in India -> Consulate -> BLS -> applicant
The details about PCC is under Passport > Police Clearance Certificate.
As a fist step PCC form needs to be submitted in embassy.passport.gov.in. The submitted application need to be submitted again with BLS along with required documents
you can either Walk-in or mail the documents for submission. Walk-in is better since it saves more time than Postal application. And it seems they introduced appointment system for walk-in.
BLS takes sometime to process and add that in the system. After that, the application can be tracked in BLS website and embassy.passport.gov.in
BLS -> Consulate and Consulate -> BLS, can be tracked in BLS website
Consulate -> SP office in India -> Local police station -> Sp office in India -> Consulate, can be tracked in embassy.passport.gov.in
One more eligibility which they didnt mention in the documentation is that you need a lot of PATIENCE. All the best! Hopefully, your application goes smooth!
Guys .Its almost 17 days since the local police submitted the report. Still the status didn't change online. Should I be concerned. Its hard to reach SP office as they don't pick the call.
